related services, facilities and common illness
Most
of the residents (98%) had water toilets and they stay at permanent,
semi-permanent and temporary types of houses.
The
barangay has its own health center with several instruments used for minor
surgical and clinical practices. The center rendered services on periodic
immunization, operation tuli, pre and post natal, tuberculosis program, mother
class, control of diarrhea, family planning and environmental sanitation.
The
nutritional status of children reveals that there are 3rd degree
malnourished children in the barangay (8.5%).
The common illness are cough, fever and colds that hit throughout the year. Headache, skin infection and dengue fever hit the barangay during the onset of the rainy season while the rest are on a seasonal basis.

affiliation
Of
the 15,576 residents, 76.72% belong to the Roman Catholics, 4.40% Baptist,
2.20% 7th day Adventist, 1.32% Jehovah’s Witness, 3.75 Alliance,
4.16% Iglesia ni Kristo, 2.47%Aglipay,o.58% UCCP and 4.39% others.

Barangay
Libertad has atotal population of 15,576 dominated by Ilonggo tribe. Other
tribes residing in the barangay are Antiquino,Cebuano, leyteno, tagalong,
bicolano, Ilocano, boholano and others.
